Overview:

Position: Licensed Tour Guide (Foreign Languages).

Location: Bangkok and various provinces, as per the travel itinerary.

Employment Type:  Part-time, with opportunities for subsequent engagements.

Daily compensation: 2,000 – 6,000 THB, varying according to your qualifications and our itinerary.

Introduction:

Join our team as an Inbound Tour Guide and be a key player in creating unforgettable and enriching experiences for our valued guests. We are currently seeking fluent tour guides who can speak foreign languages, such as French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese. If you have a love for travel, a keen eye for cultural nuances, and a flair for engaging storytelling, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct Guided Tours: Lead groups of tourists on sightseeing tours, excursions, and cultural experiences, showcasing the beauty and uniqueness of each destination.
2. Provide Information: Offer insightful and engaging information about the tour locations, including historical significance, cultural practices, local traditions, and hidden gems.
3. Ensure Safety: Prioritize the safety and well-being of tour participants by strictly adhering to safety guidelines, efficiently managing time, and handling unexpected situations calmly and responsibly.
4. Maintain Professionalism: Represent our company with professionalism by presenting a neat and tidy personality and effectively communicating with guests, colleagues, and local contacts.
5. Handle Logistics: Manage logistical aspects of the tour, such as coordinating transportation, tickets, and reservations, to create a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests.
6. Uphold Privacy: Safeguard confidential customer data and never disclose it to any irrelevant third parties.
7. Commitment to Honesty: Serve customers with integrity, never seeking personal benefits from guests, and strictly adhering to the destinations and routes approved by our company.

Qualifications:

1. Possess a valid tour guide license from the Department of Tourism, such as a bronze silver license or a specific-area license.
2. Preference will be given to tour guides with a notable score in the foreign language proficiency tests. We are currently seeking fluent tour guides who can speak foreign languages, such as French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese. We prioritize tour guides who can validate their language skills through proficiency tests aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), ranging from A1 to C2. To work with us, you must achieve at least a B2 level (upper intermediate) in these assessments.
3. Previous experience as a Tour Guide in our regular routes is preferred.
4. Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently.
5. In-depth knowledge of the tour destination(s), including historical landmarks, cultural heritage, local traditions, and lesser-known attractions.
6. Physical fitness to walk, stand, and guide groups for extended periods.
