Overview:

Position: Tour Operation Assistant.

Location: Thailand Insight Travel, Prawet Office (On-site Role).

Requirements: a high vocational certificate in Tourism Business or relevant fields.

Salary Range: THB 10,000 - THB 14,000 per month. With top-up bonus.

Job Description:

1. Booking Management: Oversee the entire booking lifecycle, including new, modified, and cancelled reservations, across key sales channels such as TripAdvisor, Viator, GetYourGuide, and others, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.

2. Travel Insurance Coordination: Proactively arrange travel insurance policies for travelers, providing them with added security and peace of mind during their journeys.

3. Customer Service Excellence: Address customer inquiries with proficiency and care, maintaining a standard of service in all communications in English.

4. Social Media Engagement: Showcase customer experiences by curating and sharing engaging photographs on our website and across popular social platforms, including Facebook and Instagram, enhancing our community's connection.

5. Content Creation: Craft and distribute compelling video content on leading social media outlets like Facebook Reels and TikTok, engaging and expanding our audience with dynamic storytelling.

6. Web Development: Leverage content management systems to design and launch webpages effortlessly, requiring minimal coding expertise.

7. Accommodation Management: Efficiently organize short-term accommodation bookings, ensuring guests enjoy a comfortable and seamless stay.

8. Supplier Relations: Skillfully negotiate with attractions and suppliers to secure the most favorable contracts and pricing, aiming to deliver unparalleled experiences to our customers.

9. Data Processing: Diligently enter and maintain raw data in our database and produce insightful reports for management review, supporting informed decision-making and strategic planning.

10. Flexible Deployment:  Undertake assignments beyond the office environment as required, embracing opportunities for external engagement and on-site responsibilities.


Qualifications:

2. Educational Requirements: Candidates should hold a high vocational certificate in a relevant field such as Tourism Business, Marketing, Computer for Business, English for Business, or related areas.

3. Skill Set: Applicants are expected to have basic command of English and proficient computer skills.

4. Preferred Experience: Although not required, priority will be given to candidates with experience in inbound tour operations and familiarity with reservation systems like TripAdvisor and Bokun. We also value proficiency in Access 365 for database management, high English proficiency test scores (TOEIC, TOEFL, or IELTS), and expertise in photo, video, and website editing. Additionally, applicants passionate about travel or those with a bronze-silver guide license will receive enhanced consideration.


Our Workplace:

Location: Our office is situated next to the PTT Metro Forest in Prawet district of Bangkok. See our google maps link.

Work Schedule: Our office operates from 11 AM to 8 PM, with a designated break from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. You are welcome to conclude your workday promptly at 8:00 PM. We respect your personal time and work-life balance.

Equipment Provision: Employees will be equipped with a laptop, state-of-the-art tour reservation software, a SIM card for communications, and a printer, ensuring all the necessary tools for efficiency and success in their role.

Salary and benefits: The chosen applicant will receive a competitive initial salary between THB 10,000 and THB 14,000, negotiable depending on skills and expertise. We offer optional overtime pay at 1.5 times the standard rate, as well as a top-up bonus for your outstanding performance. You are eligible for 13 days of our announced annual holidays.
